Privacy Policy

✅In short

PizzaCraft does not collect, transmit to us, or share any personal data. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking and no server of its own. Everything you enter is stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on for PizzaCraft, your recipes and bake journal are also kept in your own private iCloud account so they appear on your other devices; we have no access to it.

📦What the app stores, and where

• Recipes and bake journal entries (including their photos) are stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is enabled for PizzaCraft, they are also synced to the private database of your iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so they appear on your other devices. That data is stored and protected by Apple under your Apple Account; it is not sent to us and we cannot see it. You can turn this off in Settings › [your name] › iCloud.
• Timers and bake plans are stored only on the device where you created them (in a local App Group container shared with the app's Home Screen widget) and are never synced.
• Photos you attach to a journal entry are chosen with Apple's system photo picker. The app has no general access to your photo library, only to the photos you pick.
• Preferences (such as metric or imperial units and whether advanced options are shown) are stored locally on your device.
• Notifications for timers and bake plans are scheduled locally on your device and never leave it.

🙅What we don't collect

The app does not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, usage analytics, crash logs or any other personal information. There are no user accounts, no sign-in and no advertising identifiers. The only time we receive anything from you is if you choose to write to us (see below).

🤝Third parties

The app does not include any third-party SDKs, analytics services or advertising networks. iCloud sync is provided by Apple as part of iOS; see Apple's Privacy Policy.

✉️If you contact us

If you use the contact form on the Support page, your message and the details you enter (your email address, and optionally your name and iOS version) are delivered to us by Formspree, which processes them on our behalf; see Formspree's Privacy Policy. We use them only to answer you, don't add you to any list, and delete them once they're no longer needed. This applies to the website only; the app itself sends nothing.

🧒Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data at all, it does not knowingly collect data from children or anyone else.
